Event Schedule
Saturday January 21st—Tobogganing/sledding at Whitnall Park–1:00pm-4:00pm–$3 for toboggan rental
We will meet at GCC at 1:00pm and leave for Whitnall Park to go tobogganing and sledding. The cost will be $2-$3 each for tobogganing. The students can also bring a sled so we can do some sledding if time permits. We will be back at the church at 4:00pm
Saturday February 25th—Pizza and Movie Night—5:00pm-8:00pm
This is a student led event. We will have FREE pizza and will watch a movie. The movie is yet TBD. We will meet in Room 204 (Bible Study Room). Invite your friends and bring a 2-liter of soda or a dessert to share.
Friday-Saturday March 23rd-24th—Prayer and Fasting for the Persecuted Church Lock In—6:30pm-6:30pm
Christians are being persecuted around the world and sometimes we forget that this is happening. We are going to focus on our persecuted brothers and sisters as we fast and pray for 24 hours. We will meet at the church at 6:30pm. Throughout the 24 hours, we will have times of teaching on what the Bible says about persecution, we will have times of prayer for the persecuted, church and we will also go out and witness in our community for the sake of the Gospel. There is no cost for this event. More information will be coming soon.
Friday—April 6th—Secret Church @ GCC—6:00pm-Midnight
We will meet at GCC for a night of focus on the Bible with the rest of our church family via simulcast from Alabama with David Platt. The topic for this Secret Church is “The Cross and Sacrifice”. Refreshments will be available and there is no cost for this event.
Saturday April 21st—Bigger or Better Scavenger Hunt—1:00pm-4:00pm
This is a fun and challenging scavenger hunt. The youth will be split into teams and will go throughout the neighborhood around GCC and ask our neighbors if they can trade for something that is bigger or better than what they have. They will start out with an egg. Whichever team can come back to the church in the allotted time with the biggest or best thing, will win a prize.
Saturday May 26th—Serve at Plant Sale and Lasertag—Noon-6:00pm
This event is another opportunity for us to serve our church and community through helping out at GCC’s annual plant sale to raise support for missions. We will help our neighbors carry their plants to their car and we will help assist the tear down of the tent. After the sale, we will go to Lasertag Adventure in Waukesha. Cost will be around $10-15 for Lasertag.
