God truly is good. You can trust him at all times. When it seems the world is against you, you can trust him. There is no one else. When the world was gathered against Jesus, he kept entrusting himself to the One who judges justly. He alone is worthy of trust, and he is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all we can ask or think. Consider Psalm 102:25-28.
Of old you laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.
They will perish, but you will remain; they will all wear out like a garment.
You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away, but you are the same, and your years have no end.
The children of your servants shall dwell secure; their offspring shall be established before you.
God changes the earth and heavens but nothing changes him. Security is the precious possession of those who trust him. Rest in the Lord.
Tomorrow morning GCF groups will resume. This is a great opportunity for fellowship and Bible study through ZOOM. There are two adult options. Rick Ellis is leading study in the gospel according to John, and Doug Ferrell is leading study in 1 Peter. Youth are studying Psalms and Hebrews with Kyle Tesch and Ariail Layne. For access to zoom, click on the link in your email.
Our Lord is worthy of honor and praise. Join us for morning worship through YouTube or Facebook. Click HERE to choose. The sermon will deal with citizen Christians and the coronavirus. For bulletin, song sheet, and sermon outline, click HERE.
I wish I could say that I look forward to seeing you tomorrow, but I can say I look forward to your seeing me!
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Ross Layne
