John 15:7-8 ESV If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.

At Grace Community Church, we believe memorizing Scripture is both a command and a joy. The benefits of having God's Word in our hearts far outweigh the work required. Because of this, the elders are seeking to make Scripture memory part of the rhythm of life in our church, including during Sunday mornings and small groups.

Instead of being an individual endeavor, we want to help each other discipline ourselves for the purpose of godliness (1 Tim 4:7-8) in what we call Scripture Memory Gym. This involves fun as well as hard work—we get together for monthly fellowship events in which we help each other memorize Scripture through games, songs, and teaching.

Everyone is welcome to jump in at any time, and we hope you'll join us!
