At Grace Community Church, we believe memorizing Scripture is both a command and a joy. The benefits of having God's Word in our hearts far outweigh the work required. Because of this, the elders are seeking to make Scripture memory part of the rhythm of life in our church, including during Sunday mornings.Also, instead of being an individual endeavor, we want to help each other discipline ourselves for the purpose of godliness (1 Tim 4:7-8). This is why we call this effort Scripture Memory Gym.
Verses will be recited as a church in ESV.
Scripture Memory Fellowship Nights
Fellowship nights are a time we come together to help each other memorize Scripture and enjoy fellowship around the Word of God. Typically, fellowship nights consist of singing, practicing the memory verses in a fun way, learning from Scripture about the theme of the month, and a Scripture memory competition. You are encouraged to bring food or drink for us to share.
Our fellowship nights take place the 3rd Sunday of every month at 6:30 pm in the church cafeteria. These dates may shift from time to time, so please check this page or the church bulletin for changes. Everyone is welcome to jump in at any time, even if you haven’t been coming to all of them!

Monthly Verses
The following verses will be recited in church on Sunday morning. We are aiming to memorize 2 verses per month. The dates given are the Sunday morning when we will start reciting a particular verse.
