Happy Friday Church Family!
Sunday is just two days away!! Don’t these days of being shut-in make you long to be together even if it will be virtual? I am missing you tremendously. It was a delight to see and to speak and pray with many of you at the “Virtual Learning and Leaning” on Wednesday! Thank God for Zoom and for providing this technology for such a time as this! Thanks to Rick Ellis for getting us up and running!
Sunday morning at 9 am our GCFs will meet through ZOOM. I refer you to the previous email which instructs you how to get stated. You will also find these instructions on the web site. Click on the “BLOG” tab and then on “Instructions for Online Meetings.” Again the all-important number you will need is 7446633702. As you “arrive” (sign-in), Rick will assign you to the meeting room of the GCF you are attending (One Accord or New Life or High School Youth). Others can actually stay in the “main room” and chat or pray with one another if you would like. I enthusiastically encourage taking advantage of these fellowship opportunities. It is like manna in the desert!
I want to say a rousing "thank you" to Kurt Sonnenburg. He has been so instrumental in all our IT matters and particularly live streaming. Kurt is working to get us on You Tube for streaming but that has not come about yet. Pray that it might happen so that we will have an alternate streaming opportunity. As it stands then, we will be back on facebook as we were last week. If you need any assistance in logging on, please let someone know and we will get you on. It is NOT HARD, and you DO NOT have to have a facebook account.
This Sunday we will be providing a bulletin, a song sheet, and a sermon outline page in the place of on-screen helps. You will receive an email with the proper links or click HERE. Please note, if you tap the link for these documents and nothing seems to happen, please check your downloads folder to see if they have been placed there. At least one Android user has found this to be the case.
May God keep you all safe and rejoicing in His good care. Remember these assuring words from the Sovereign God recorded in
Isaiah 41:10,
“fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
With Christ’s Love for You All,
Pastor Ross Layne
