Good Wednesday Morning!
As we continue to move through uncharted waters as a church, as a state, as a nation, and as a world, it seems more and more that our most difficult days still lie ahead. It should not discourage us to think in this way. Our contentment must never be grounded in our circumstances but in our great God and in his precious promises. Our hope is not for better earthly circumstances but for a closer walk and deeper satisfaction with Christ. This was the foundation of the contentment of the Apostle Paul, who said, “I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Remember, tonight is Virtual “Grace in the Evening” for ladies on Zoom. The topic is guidance. Click HERE to get in to the virtual meeting room. It gets started at 6:30 p.m., so please sign in prior to that time so as to get settled and ready for an exciting program of study and fellowship. I rejoice that 25 ladies have already indicated they will be there!
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Ross Layne
